Nuoc Cham

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 1/2 a cup of sugar
  • 1/2 a cup of lime juice
  • 1/3 cup of fish sauce
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • Half a chili sliced

Directions

  1. Dissolve the sugar in a bowl with the hot water using chopsticks or a small whisk.
  2. Add the lime juice, fish sauce and chili in after the sugar is dissolved and serve or cover & store in the fridge for later.

Note

  • The chili is optional but recommended
