Egg Sandwich with Hash

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 diced potato
  • 1 clove of finely chopped garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 1 Kaiser roll or English muffin
  • Salt & pepper

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, toss the potatoes in and let them brown for roughly 5 minutes. Stir and toss occasionally
  2. Check the potato’s doneness, if nearly done then toss in the garlic
  3. Season the potatoes with salt & pepper to taste
  4. Slice and toast the buns
  5. Heat up butter in a pan over medium heat, fry the egg and season with salt & pepper
  6. Assemble the sandwich, bun, (optional vegetables), cheese, egg, bun and plate with the hash potatoes next to it.

Notes

You can toast the bun slices on a buttered pan for extra flavor
