Egg Sandwich with Hash
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- 1 diced potato
- 1 clove of finely chopped garlic
- 1 egg
- 1 slice of cheese
- 1 Kaiser roll or English muffin
- Salt & pepper
Directions
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, toss the potatoes in and let them brown for roughly 5 minutes. Stir and toss occasionally
- Check the potato’s doneness, if nearly done then toss in the garlic
- Season the potatoes with salt & pepper to taste
- Slice and toast the buns
- Heat up butter in a pan over medium heat, fry the egg and season with salt & pepper
- Assemble the sandwich, bun, (optional vegetables), cheese, egg, bun and plate with the hash potatoes next to it.
Notes
You can toast the bun slices on a buttered pan for extra flavor
