Breakfast Quinoa
Ingredients
- 1 cup of quinoa
- 2 cups of water
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 cup of mixed berries
Directions
- Put the quinoa, water and salt in a pot and bring to a boil using medium heat. Once at a boil, turn the heat to low and place a lid on the pot leaving a small amount of space to vent.
- After 10 minutes on low, add the sugar, half the cup of fruit and stir. Keep cooking on low for 20m, adding water as necessary. The quinoa is ready when the grains become translucent.
- Fluff the quinoa like you would rice, serve and top with the remaining berries.
